The Wave of Light is a global event that honors and remembers babies who have died during pregnancy, childbirth, or infancy. It is a candlelight vigil held on October 15 every year and serves as a moment of remembrance for parents and loved ones who have lost a baby, as we create a wave of light that transcends time zones and continents. The Wave of Light is an opportunity to provide comfort, raise awareness about pregnancy and infant loss, and break the silence surrounding this often deeply personal and emotional experience.
This event is hosted in partnership with Our Little Angels, a local organization that supports families who have experienced infertility and loss. The event is from 6-8 PM, and we will begin the candlelighting ceremony at 7 PM. There will be snacks provided. During the ceremony, we will have space for families to share their babies’ names and stories, if they would like to. If you would like to join us for this special event, RSVP to reserve your candle.
